On this page, I will add resources for Indigo/Crystal/Rainbow/Diamond/etc. studies, children, and parents. It will be updated whenever I find something worth passing on. If you have a resource worth posting, let me know!
- General Information and Background for the New Children
First and foremost, this book has been immensely helpful and was one of the first such books to address Indigo children: The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. It is actually a series of interviews with parents, teachers, nutritionists, and more who have studied these children. It includes a section from Doreen Virtue, PhD, a leading writer and researcher in these new energies.
There is a follow-up book by Carroll and Tober, The Indigo Children Ten Years Later, which I just ordered!
Doreen Virtue has also written a fabulous book, which is happily available as a free download: The Crystal Children: A Guide to the Newest Generation of Psychic and Sensitive Children In fact, I would highly recommend ANYTHING you can find from Doreen Virtue on this or any other subject. I am also reading her book The Care and Feeding of Indigo Children.
Dolores Cannon is another valuable resource. Google “Dolores Cannon Crystal Children” and “Dolores Cannon Three Waves of Volunteers” to see her speak on YouTube about the children and adults who volunteered to transform the Earth.
This way of looking at schools is brilliant for the “New Kids”! It would be great to have more schools like this around the world!
As is this pedagogy, originating from Outward Bound!
The New Earth Children Centre.com is a very thorough resource for all types of the New Energy children.
The Children of Now, Parenting the Children of Now, and Conversations with the Children of Now, all by Meg Blackburn Losey, PhD, address Crystals, Star Children, and, most helpfully, Transitional Children. “Dr. Meg” does much of her work through telepathy, so if that’s not something you are open to, stick with the other resources here. If that is something you are open to, her books are very interesting!
http://www.takingthelidoffthesun.com: Great sections on Parenting and Intuitive Children.
http://www.blogtalkradio.com/intuitivekidsnetwork/2009/01/13/who-are-the-crystal-children. This is a great introduction and overview of the Crystal Children generation. The Intuitive Kids’ Network has other good podcasts as well.
http://thenewearthchildrencentre.com/the-children/rainbow-children/ This is perhaps the best definition of Diamond children I’ve seen. There are others out there, but there are no books (so far) on this newest energy.
- From the Children and Parents Themselves
I recently came across Saturn 3 Light Flyers. This website is written by a family whose children are Crystals. In fact, one of the children (now a teenager) writes much of the content. Some of it is “out there” for more traditional mindsets, but I find it pure gold. As with everything I post here, take from it what you will.
Here is a fascinating Youtube interview with a Crystal adult.
- Exercises and Parenting Tips
Tristan, a Crystal, and his family have posted some fantastic exercises on Saturn 3 Light Flyers that I plan to share with Lily. I’ve actually done some similar things with her through intuition. Let me know if you do these and what you think!

You may have heard of Love and Logic through church or parent groups. I cannot recommend this highly enough. This system teaches responsibility, boundaries, and consequences (essential in particular for children who may not be used to Earth yet) in a gentle, loving way.
Sandi Schwartz at http://leadingedgeparenting.com is a great source for–you guessed it–leading edge parenting. The website is not that informative, but there is also a radio show at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/leadingedgeparenting and a Facebook community. I first heard this woman talk on a podcast, and she was down-to-Earth and amazing.
- Special Topics
The topic of autism has always fascinated me. My daughter is not autistic, but I know many kids who are. And for what it’s worth, I took two online Aspergers tests, and the scores suggest I may be “on the spectrum.” But I digress. Doreen Virtue, in her writings on Crystal Children, describes the growing number of autistic children as “awe-tistic” because many are definitely tuned in to something higher than themselves. Two boys I am blessed to have in my Sunday School class have had amazing spiritual experiences and take my teachings to a whole new level. William Stillman, an adult with Aspergers, writes and lectures on Autism and the God Connection. Amazing stuff.
